
The Arizona Cardinals announced that they have cut wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins after just three seasons with the team.
By making the move, the Cardinals save $7.3 million, but have $22.6 million in dead cap money for the 2023 season. Hopkins will be off their books for the 2023 season.
Hopkins had 221 receptions for 2,696 yards and 17 touchdowns during his three seasons in Arizona. Last season, Hopkins hauled in 64 passes for 717 yards and three touchdowns.
Originally drafted by the Houston Texans, Hopkins has 853 receptions for 11,298 yards and 71 touchdowns in his 10 career seasons.
