The Arizona Cardinals and linebacker Devon Kennard have reached a three-year deal according to Adam Schefter.
No monetary information for the contract has been made public yet.
Kennard is a six-year pro who has played for the Giants and Lions. Detroit released him earlier in the week. He has started 65 games in his pro career with 307 tackles. Last season, he had 58 tackles for Detroit.
Arizona has been very active in the first few days of the new league year. Along with bringing in Kennard, they traded for DeAndre Hopkins and transition tagged Kenyan Drake. If Kennard can help their defense improve, they could take a giant step forward next season.
