
The Los Angeles Rams will be missing their starting corner for some time.
Aqib Talib did not participate in his team’s 20-7 loss against the 49ers due to a rib injury. Now, the cornerback has been placed on injury reserve. As a result, he will be sidelined for a minimum of eight weeks.
Rams are now planning to place CB Aqib Talib on injured reserve due to his rib injury, per sources. Talib could return later this season.

The three time Pro-Bowler will be eligible to return in Week 15. The Rams will be set to play the Dallas Cowboys. In the meantime, Troy Hill will be taking reps at the cornerback position. Hill also filled Talib’s starting spot against the 49ers in Week 6.
This is the second consecutive year Talib has been placed on injury reserve. Last season, the corner was placed on IR due to an ankle injury in Week 3. He returned in Week 13 and remained active throughout his team’s trip to Superbowl 53.
