Wide Receiver Andre Roberts and safety Dean Marlowe, return to the Buffalo Bills, a day after being cut.
The Bills added the two players back to the 53 man roster today, after fellow teammates, Jon Feliciano and rookie receiver Isaiah Hodgins were put on the injured reserve list.
USA Today reported that Roberts and Marlowe were never in danger of losing their positions on the team. In fact, the Bills planned to cut the two players so the could keep Hodgins and Feliciano on the team. Under NFL policy, the two players will eligible to play for the 2020 NFL Season. However, due to Hodgins and Feliciano’s injuries, they would be seeing the field for Week 1.
Bills Prepare to take the field
With Week 1 just around the corner, Bills fans wonder how the first week is going to go. According to sports commentators, it going to be a low scoring nail biter against The New York Jets.
College Football News predicts that the game can go either way with each team having an equal chance of winning.
Pete Fiutak, a writer for the news outlets, says that the Bills could possibly win by having the defense hold the Jets, but believes that the Jets might give the offense trouble in the backfield.
On the other side of the coin, Fiutak believes The Jets’ offense will have a hard time getting going with the Bills’ defense.
With both teams struggling offensive abilities, based on Fiutak’s opinion, The Jets or Bills defenses will win them the game. Alternatively, The Jets can win, if the offense can somehow surpass the Bills decently strong defense
Both teams play each other on September 13, at 1:00 pm
