The Detroit Lions have re-signed linebacker Alex Anzalone on a three-year, $18.75 million deal according to Ian Rapoport.
Anzalone, 28, had 125 total tackles, 1.5 sacks and six passes defended last season for the Lions. He has 326 total tackles, 6.5 sacks and 16 passes defended in his career.
The Lions were ranked 28th last season in points allowed per game at 21.5, so they bring back Anzalone hoping he can help them improve.
