As the middle of summer drags on, NFL teams prepare for what should be another fun and crazy year. Last season saw the Los Angeles Rams push their way to a Super Bowl victory over the upstart Cincinnati Bengals. What could be in store for this season? Here are 3 teams that bettors should be watching and making their bets on.

Denver Broncos

Bringing over Russel Wilson from the Seahawks may send the Broncos into another Peyton Manning-type era. While Wilson is not as good as Manning, he is still an extremely good quarterback. Something that the Denver Broncos have been missing for a few years now.

With a stalwart defense and plentiful weapons on offense, this team is ready to go. They have two solid runningbacks while their WR group may be the most underrated in football. With Jerry Jeudy ready to make his mark, Courtland Sutton being a consistent threat and Tim Patrick continuing to surprise this team is certainly ready. The only major hangup is the division that they play in might be the best in football. All four teams are going to be in contention to make the playoffs. Indianapolis Colts

Another team that instantly got better by trading for a veteran quarterback. The Indianapolis Colts had a pretty good year last year but lacked consistency. They decided that Carson Wentz was not their guy and brought in the man with ice in his veins, Matt Ryan.

This team already has a solid defense, one of the best offensive lines in the game, a solid young core of wideouts and the best running back in the game. They needed a very good quarterback and Matt Ryan can absolutely be that guy. He won’t have as many weapons as he did in the past but there is not doubt that he can make it work. With Michael Pittman on one side and second round steal Alec Pierce on the other, he will be able to throw a lot of balls up for grabs. Due to their size, there is no doubt that this team will be a red zone threat every time.

What makes this team even more desirable to bet on is their division. The Tennessee Titans are solid but the Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars are still in their rebuild phase. This team will win a lot of games and have a relatively easy division to do it in.

Cincinnati Bengals

You might be thinking, “the Super Bowl Bengals are being slept on?” And the answer would be yes. Many believe that it was a fluke that this team made it to the Super Bowl at all. They just happened to get hot and rode the momentum all the way there. The thing is though, this team is extremely talented and one that many more people should be looking at.

Their skill group is one of the best in the league. With Joe Mixon, Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd and Rookie of the Year Ja’Marr Chase, the Bengals can go toe-to-toe with anyone. Add onto that Joe Burrow, who is arguably a top-five quarterback in the NFL already and the Bengals are deadly.

There are some questions about their defense but those that watched this young Bengals’ defense know that they are projecting to only get better. Make sure to get bets in on them before the season starts and everyone remembers just how good they are.
