The 2025 NFL Draft will be a great event for teams to start building for their future. Here is the Tre Harris NFL Draft Profile.
Position: Wide Receiver
School: Ole Miss
Size: 6-foot-3, 210 pounds

Harris was a two-star recruit in the class of 2020, who signed with Louisiana Tech. He didn’t play much as a freshman, registering just one catch for 20 yards. He played a lot more in 2021, hauling in 40 passes for 562 yards and four touchdowns. Louisiana Tech only won three games that season. In 2022, Harris caught 65 passes for 935 yards and 10 touchdowns. The Bulldogs won just three games again and Harris decided to transfer to Ole Miss in 2023. That season, Harris totaled 54 receptions for 985 yards and eight touchdowns. He helped the Rebels win 11 games. Harris returned for 2024, then produced with 60 receptions for 1,030 yards and seven touchdowns. He led the team to a 10-win season.
Following the season, Harris declared for the 2025 NFL Draft. He currently is projected to be a day-two pick.
Harris has a good frame for a wide receiver at the NFL level. He stands at 6-foot-3 and 210 pounds, which makes him above average for the position. With his size comes a big catch radius, as Harris uses his height and length well. He can also highlight the football well with the ability to jump well. He has good play strength as well.
Once the ball is in his hands, Harris is a threat to pick up more yardage. With the ball in his hands, he has good vision and runs to open space. He has ok speed, but also uses his play strength too. Harris is hard for defensive backs to tackle and he uses his contact balance to pick up tough yards after the catch.
While he isn’t the fastest receivers, Harris is still a decent deep threat. He can attack vertically and then tracks the ball well. Once the ball is near, he shows the ability to bring in acrobatic and contested catches. In one on one situations, Harris battles for the ball and can come down with it in the deep parts of the field.
Harris lacks top-end speed and acceleration. He starts off the plays with decent acceleration, but doesn’t have great burst off of the line of scrimmage. Once he gets to top-end speed, defenders can usually run with him stride for stride. That puts an emphasis on him winning with his physicality.
He is just an average route-runner. Harris needs to work on his releases to help him create separation early in the play. He wasn’t afforded many opportunities to showcase releases in college so he needs more reps. Harris can struggle to cut quickly, which makes it tough to run his routes effectively. In addition, Harris also needs to run more routes at the next level.
For his size, Harris should be a better blocker. He needs to show more effort in his blocking to play to the size that he has. Harris can also use better techniques to help him sustain his blocks. With some work, Harris could turn this weakness into a strength at the next level.
Projected Draft Range: Second Round Pick-Third Round Pick
Draft Grade: Second Round Pick
