Alabama lost a close matchup in some tough conditions to Georgia. The Crimson Tide didn’t get the offense rolling like they usually do, which is a credit to Georgia’s defense and the weather. The passing game was impacted, but Ryan Coleman-Williams had a solid game. He finished with three catches for 39 yards.
Williams did have a drop or two, which isn’t encouraging after his rough 2025 season. The conditions weren’t great and the passes were tough, but he could’ve brought them in. He showed his quickness and ability to separate in this game, even if the stats don’t show it. Coleman-Williams is still projected to be drafted in the first or second round.
Georgia’s defense did a great job in leading them to a win. They held Alabama to just 17 points and had several players step up. Bolden was one of the standouts in the game, living up to his hype. He finished the game with seven tackles, 0.5 tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks and one pass defended in the game.
Bolden showed off his athleticism and versatility in this game. He made plenty of plays, including helping the team get a sack on his blitz. There were some plays that could’ve been pass interference, so he’ll want to make sure he doesn’t pick up flags in the future. He is a projected first-round pick who could be the first safety taken in the 2027 NFL Draft.
Texas had a matchup with a tough Oklahoma team featuring a strong defense. The Longhorns lost the game on a last-second field goal. While the offense had some good moments, much like the rest of the season, it was inconsistent. Manning was part of the problem, as he passed for 260 yards and three touchdowns, but also had two interceptions.
The game was a frustrating one, which has been a theme in Manning’s career. His natural talent is there and there are stretches of really good play. There are also some bad stretches of play. Manning will likely still be drafted early because of his physical tools, but the mental mistakes will need to be cleaned up at the next level. He is still projected to be a first-round pick.
Oregon was without their starting quarterback, but were favored against UCLA at home. They ended up losing, but their defense played well. Washington had a solid game for the Ducks, helping them limit the Bruins to 17 points. He finished the game with five total tackles and 0.5 tackles for loss.
Washington had a good game, showcasing his ability to move well for his size. He got his hands up to defend a pass as well in this game. Washington picked up a penalty for throwing the ball after a play. If he can improve his pass rushing, his stock will rise. He is projected to be a first- or second-round pick in the 2027 NFL Draft.
Arkansas battled hard against a ranked Tennessee team, but ended up losing. The defense played well, as they only allowed 24 points, but the offense couldn’t keep up. One of the defenders who stood out was Rhodes. He finished the game with two total tackles and one sack. Rhodes also had a 58-yard fumble recovery in the game.
Rhodes played well in the game and was banged up for a portion of it. He may still be best utilized as a pass rusher from the inside, but Rhodes showed his strength in this game. Keeping his pad level low really helps him retain his power and he needs to do that, as well as time the snap more consistently. He is currently projected to be a first- or second-round pick.
