*Frazier was held out of this game with an injury.
Texas was able to get a good win on the road over Tennessee. The offense didn’t play their best game, as they managed to score just 20 points. Offensively, the line had an uneven performance. That includes Siani, who had some good and some bad reps in the game.
Siani struggled with some of the pass rushers from Tennessee, which is unlike him. That is usually his calling card, so Siani will have to fix his issues and improve his run blocking as well to increase his stock. There is still plenty of football left to be played and Siani can solidify or increase his standing down the stretch.
Ole Miss lost on the road to Florida in a game that wasn’t really close in the second half. The defense played horribly, as they gave up 52 points. Echoles had an uneven performance against Florida as he did his job at times, but disappeared at others. He finished the game with three total tackles.
Echoles has put out good tape this season, doing a good job against the run and generating pressure from the interior. This wasn’t his best performance, but he has done enough to show that he is worth a first-round pick, especially if he is able to get things back on track the rest of the way.
Iowa won in dramatic fashion over Michigan on a last-second touchdown. The offense played decently well, especially for Iowa and against a solid Michigan defense. They scored 20 points and amassed 227 passing yards, although it was hard for them to get things going on the ground. Pieper helped the offense with his blocking from the interior.
In this game, Pieper did well in the Iowa zone-running scheme, even if the stats didn’t add up. He also did solidly in pass protection. Pieper won’t be for everyone, but for teams looking for a zone-blocking interior lineman, he showed to be a viable option in this game. He should be a solid day two pick in the 2027 NFL Draft.
Oregon won on the road against USC in a game where there starting quarterback was knocked out of the game. The defense played solidly, even though they gave up 27 points. Matayo Uiagalelei played a decent game, registering three total tackles, one tackle for loss and one sack.
Uiagalelei registered his sack on a stunt, so it wasn’t via a pass rush move, but rather his ability to move. He still needs to get more production down the stretch to help build some momentum for his stock after he had just six sacks last season. Right now, he is a projected day two pick in the 2027 NFL Draft.
