1. Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame Fighting Irish

Notre Dame had a good offensive game against Texas A&M, but ended up falling late 41-40. The Fighting Irish made a concerted effort to use their best player, Jeremiyah Love, in this game and he delivered. Love finished the game with 94 rushing yards, 53 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Love was able to showcase his vision, elusiveness and receiving ability in this game. He was the best player on the field and it showed, even in the loss. While the team is struggling, Love has done nothing to hurt his stock. He is still projected to be the first running back selected in the 2026 NFL Draft.

2. Cashius Howell, EDGE, Texas A&M Aggies

Texas A&M’s defense struggled against Notre Dame, but they did enough to win the game. There were a few key plays made, and some mistakes by Notre Dame, and the Aggies got the job done. Edge rusher Cashius Howell had three tackles, 1 tackle for loss and one pass defended.

Howell didn’t have a sack, but he impacted the game. He showed his burst at the snap and made a play or two in the backfield. His ability to make plays against the run was surprising and good for his draft stock. Howell is trending towards being a first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

3. Lawson Luckie, TE, Georgia Bulldogs

Georgia was down early, but were able to come back to beat Tennessee in overtime. Their offense stepped up in this game and Luckie helped with that. He didn’t have his biggest game, but he finished with three catches for 25 yards.

Luckie is one of many talented pass catchers for Georgia and produced in his opportunities. He still needs to work on his blocking, but can be a mismatch problem as a pass-catcher. Luckie is currently projected to be a mid-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

4. Joshua Josephs, EDGE, Tennessee Volunteers

While there wasn’t much defense in Tennessee’s loss to Georgia, there were a few key players who stepped up. Edge rusher Joshua Joseph had four tackles and one tackle for loss. His impact was even greater than the box score would indicate.

He is a little undersized, but has great athleticism. Josephs showed refined pass rushing in this game and flexibility to get around the edge. He has boosted his stock early in the season and is currently projected to be a day two pick.

5. Austin Barber, OT, Florida Gators

Florida had a tough game against LSU and lost 20-10. The offense couldn’t stop turning the ball over in this game. While the offensive line wasn’t totally at fault, they could’ve played better. Austin Barber had a solid game at tackle for the Gators.

Barber needs to continue to add strength to his frame, but he moves well for his size. He uses his hands well, but his pad level can get too high. A little more refinement will really help Barber’s stock. Barber is projected to be a first or second round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
