Ohio State defeated Michigan for the first time in a few years and a lot of it was thanks to their defense. They allowed just nine points and no touchdowns to bring in the impressive win. Sonny Styles was a big part of the defense all year and stepped up in this game too. He finished the game with six total tackles and one tackle for loss.
Styles showed his good pursuit and run defense against Michigan. At 6-foot-4 and 235 pounds, Styles has good size and his athleticism as a former safety shines through. His coverage skills can continue to be refined and there are still some moments where he makes it clear he is still learning the position. Styles is still considered a day two pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Oregon completed the regular season with just one loss after defeating Washington this week. The defense played well, allowing just 14 points in the game. Dillon Thieneman was a huge presence for the defense and played well in this game. He tallied seven tackles, one tackle for loss and one sack against the Huskies.
Thieneman showed his ability to get to the football in this game with his tackles and his sack. He has good pursuit, tackling and run support. His ability to play good zone coverage also helps fill out his prospect profile. He can improve his man coverage and continue to make sure he doesn’t overpursue. Thieneman is currently projected to be a day two pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Washington lost a tough one to Oregon in rivalry week. The offense didn’t perform well enough, as they only scored 14 points in the game. Boston didn’t have a great game yardage-wise, but did find the end zone twice. He finished the game with four catches for 25 yards and two touchdowns.
While it wasn’t his best performance, Boston displayed some of his talent in this game. He is a good redzone target who knows how to use his body well. Boston runs after the catch better than expected for his size. His route-running can use some refinement and his run blocking can also improve. He is currently projected to be a first or second-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Clemson didn’t have the season they expected, but were able to beat their rivals, South Carolina, to close out the regular season. The defense allowed a lot of passing yards, but only 14 points, as the Gamecocks had to play catch-up. Avieon Terrell helped the defensive effort with one tackle, but solid coverage.
Terrell plays an aggressive style of football. He attacks the catchpoint in coverage and is willing in run support. He mirrors wide receivers well in man coverage. He can continue to fill out his frame, work on his tackling and make sure he isn’t too overaggressive in coverage. He is a projected first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Iowa had an offensive explosion against Nebraska winning the game 40-16. Their skill position players played well, but they also got great play from their offensive line. Dunker played well, helping Iowa pass for 166 yards and rush for 213 yards. The offensive line also didn’t give up a sack.
Dunker was able to display his strength and run blocking prowess in this game. He has a nice anchor in pass protection. A move to guard is likely coming at the next level, as he doesn’t have the arm length and athleticism to be an elite tackle at the next level. He is considered a first or second-round pick.
