Oregon played a great offensive game and defeated USC for a key win this season. They scored 42 points, with quarterback Dante Moore playing well. A lot of that was because of him throwing to tight end Kenyon Sadiq. Sadiq finished the game as Oregon’s leading receiver with six catches for 72 yards and two touchdowns.
Sadiq proved why he is currently seen as the top tight end in the draft class. He has good route-running with the ability to separate. Sadiq can run after the catch and also made some great contested catches this week. He’ll have to continue to work on his blocking, but he is currently projected to be a first-round pick.
USC needed a win to stay alive for the CFP, but they fell short against Oregon. Their offense had some good and some bad, which was the same for quarterback Jayden Maiava. He finished the game 25/43 for 306 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions against the Ducks.
Maiava’s good size, quick release and accuracy have impressed this season. He’ll need to protect the football better in big games to help his stock. His accuracy can also improve to the middle and deep parts of the field. The quarterback class isn’t the greatest, but Maiava could be a day two pick if he declares.
Arkansas has had a rough season and that continued on Saturday night. They lost to Texas and the defense allowed 52 points. Quincy Rhodes helped the defensive effort, but he did not have his best game this season. he finished with two total tackles and also added 0.5 tackles for loss.
Rhodes has a lot of production against lesser competition so this week was an opportunity for him. He is a big edge rusher who can set the edge against the run. He can rush from the inside or the out and has good pass-rush moves. His burst could limit him at the next level. He is currently projected to be a day two pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Penn State has also had a rough season, but they played a great game this week against Nebraska to get a win. The offense scored 37 points, passed for 181 yards and rushed for 231 yards. That is impressive, given that they have a backup quarterback in the game with Drew Allar being injured. Olaivavega Ioane helped the offense up front and the unit only allowed one sack.
He has great size and his pass protection skills have been on display this season. Ioane moves pretty well for his size, which should give him the tools to develop into a good NFL guard. He still needs to improve his leverage and hand usage. Ioane is currently projected to be a first or second-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Louisville had an injury issue to quarterback Miller Moss and had to go with backup quarterbacks in this game. They lost to SMU and the offense was not as explosive as it had been in the past. Chris Bell did the most he could given the situation, registering five catches for 46 yards.
Bell has good size for the position and is a good straight-line athlete. He is great with the ball in his hands and can turn routine plays into big ones. Bell needs to improve his route running and also run more routes to help his stock. He is currently projected to be a day two pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
