NFL Draft Prospects to Watch in College Football Week 11

Publish Date: November 8, 2026

While the 2027 NFL Draft is still far off in the distance, players who will be drafted early are on the field now. Each week presents unique matchups for draft prospects and this week is no different. Here are NFL Draft prospects to watch in college football Week 11.

1. Colin Simmons, EDGE, Texas Longhorns

Simmons was a coveted recruit who joined Texas in 2024. As a freshman, he registered 48 total tackles, 14 tackles for loss and nine sacks. Simmons built on his good freshman season with 15.5 tackles for loss and 12 sacks as a sophomore. So far this season, he has 16 tackles for loss and 10.5 sacks in seven games played. He will be matched up with a talented LSU offense, including at tackle in Jordan Seaton.

While he isn’t the biggest edge rusher at 6-foot-3 and 245 pounds, he makes up for it with his athleticism. He has good burst at the snap and is fast around the edge, paired with some nice flexibility. Simmons can struggle to set the edge against the run, but does show good pursuit to make plays. He is currently projected to be a top 10 pick in the 2027 NFL Draft.

2. Drew Mestemaker, QB, Oklahoma State Cowboys

Mestemaker didn’t start at quarterback in high school, but found his way on to the North Texas roster in 2024. He passed for 462 yards that season, but got the opportunity to start for a full season in 2025. Mestemaker passed for 4,379 yards, 34 touchdowns and nine interceptions on 68.9 percent completion. Before the 2026 season, Mestemaker followed head coach Eric Morris to Oklahoma State. So far this season, he has passed for 2,962 yards, 29 touchdowns and eight interceptions on 66.7 percent completion. Mestemaker will be going up against Texas Tech in a marquee game this week.

At 6-foot-3 and 211 pounds, Mestemaker has solid size for an NFL quarterback. He has adjusted well to the uptick in competition at the Big 12 level. Mestemaker has good arm talent and has the ability to go through his progressions well. He is still relatively inexperienced as a quarterback and it can show sometimes. Mestemaker can leave more room for receivers to run after the catch as well. He is currently projected to be a top 10 pick.

3. Nick Marsh, WR, Indiana Hoosiers

Marsh was a standout freshman for Michigan State in 2024. He registered 41 catches for 649 yards and three touchdowns. In 2025, Marsh had 59 catches for 662 yards and six touchdowns. Before the 2026 season, Marsh decided to transfer to Indiana. So far this season with the Hoosiers, Marsh has 38 catches for 669 yards and eight touchdowns. This week, Indiana will need more offense with the help of Marsh to keep up with USC.

He stands at 6-foot-3 and 213 pounds, giving him good size for an NFL receiver. Marsh has good ball skills and is also able to run after the catch well. He uses his size well and can make contested catches. Marsh hasn’t had elite production at the college level, but also hasn’t had great quarterback play. Adding to his route tree and getting out of his breaks quicker can help his stock. He is currently projected to be a first-round pick in the 2027 NFL Draft.

4. Austin Simmons, QB, Missouri Tigers

Simmons started getting playing time for Ole Miss in 2024, when he passed for 282 yards in limited action. In 2025, he was supposed to be the starter, but was eventually replaced by Trinidad Chambliss. He passed for 744 yards, four touchdowns and five interceptions on 60 percent completion. In order to start, Simmons transferred to Missouri for 2026. He has passed for 2,204 yards, 18 touchdowns and two interceptions on 61.8 percent completion. This week, he will be going up against a good Georgia defense.

At 6-foot-4 and 220 pounds, Simmons has good size for an NFL quarterback. He is a solid athlete with a very strong arm and the ability to attack downfield and fit the ball into tight windows. Simmons has done a solid job going through his progressions as well for a quarterback who doesn’t have a lot of starts under his belt. He can struggle with pressure and also could use some more experience to improve his stock. Simmons could also have more touch on his passes at times. Simmons is a projected first- or second-round pick in the 2027 NFL Draft if he declares.

5. Ellis Robinson, CB, Georgia Bulldogs

Robinson started playing for Georgia in 2024, but didn’t see the field too much. In 2025, he had four interceptions and seven passes defended as a starter. So far this season for the Bulldogs, Robinson has two interceptions and six passes defended. This week, he will try to help slow down Austin Simmons and Missouri.

He isn’t the biggest corner at 6-foot and 180 pounds. Filling out his frame will be on the agenda for Robinson at the next level. Robinson can tackle too high and also can get grabby in coverage. He excels at reading the quarterbacks’ eyes in zone coverage. Robinson has good ball skills, attacking the catchpoint well. He can also mirror well in man coverage. Robinson is a projected first round pick in the 2027 NFL Draft.
