1. Dallas Turner, EDGE, Alabama Crimson Tide

Alabama avenged their loss from last season by defeating LSU 42-28. Their defense allowed some points, but overall played pretty well. Dallas Turner showed how good of a player he is by registering four total tackles and one pass defended.

Turner got pressure on the quarterback and even hit Jayden Daniels hard enough that he had to leave the game. This season, Turner has played well and has helped his draft stock. He is currently projected to be one of the first edge rushers selected as a first round pick.

2. Maason Smith, DL, LSU Tigers

LSU had a rough game against Alabama. Their defense did not play well and that included their front seven. They allowed Alabama to rush for 288 yards. Maason Smith didn’t have a great game either and registered just one total tackle.

It was discouraging to see Smith have a bad game, but he still has plenty of stock as a draft prospect. He needs to create more of an impact down the stretch. That doesn’t have to mean he is making plays, as he can take on blockers and create havoc to allow his teammates to make the play. He is currently projected to be a day-two pick.

3. Nate Wiggins, CB, Clemson Tigers

Clemson has had a down season by their standards, but they were able to get the win over Notre Dame in week 10. Their defense played well and forced some turnovers. Nate Wiggins didn’t help create turnovers, but did an excellent job on Saturday. He finished the game with two total tackles.

Wiggins didn’t start the game because he missed some tutoring sessions. He still has had a fantastic season and helped shut down the Notre Dame passing attack when he did enter the game. Wiggins has been one of the best corners in college football and should be a first-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

4. Max Melton, CB, Rutgers Scarlet Knights

Rutgers stuck with Ohio State for a half before the Buckeyes ended up pulling away for the win. Their defense was the reason they were in the game, as they held Ohio State to seven first-half points. Max Melton played well in the game, as he had four total tackles.

Melton made some impact plays, as he prevented Marvin Harrison Jr. from getting a first down. He did get banged up in the game, but overall played well. His stock will be improved by his career performances against Marvin Harrison Jr. He currently is projected to be a mid-round pick.

5. Cooper Beebe, OG/C, Kansas State Wildcats

Kansas State was able to hang around, but eventually lost to Texas in overtime. Their offense played well to get them to overtime, but they couldn’t finish the job. They got solid play from their offensive line in pass protection, including Cooper Beebe.

Beebe has had a solid career at Kansas State and has proven to be reliable. He can finish plays well and holds up as both a run and pass blocker. He could be the first interior lineman selected in the 2024 NFL Draft and is a projected first or second round pick.
