The bowl season gives fans and scouts alike a chance to analyze NFL Draft prospects against solid competition. Bowl scheduling allows all eyes to be on each game. Here are the NFL Draft prospects in the 2026 Liberty Bowl.
Landon Robinson, DL
Robinson joined Navy in 2022, but did not play. He began producing in 2023, as he registered 28 total tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and four sacks on the season. In 2024, Robinson amassed 61 total tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss and four sacks. For the 2025 season, Robinson has 58 total tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks.
At 6-foot and 287 pounds, Robinson is a little undersized for an NFL interior defensive lineman. He has production over multiple years, which makes him worthy of getting a shot to make an NFL roster.
Projected Draft Range: Sixth Round Pick-Undrafted Free Agent
Eli Heidenreich, WR
Heidenreich was a freshman at Navy in 2022, but did not play. He had 214 rushing yards, 382 receiving yards and five touchdowns in 2023. In 2024, he had 444 rushing yards, 671 receiving yards and nine touchdwons. For the 2025 season, Heidenreich has 437 rushing yards, 877 receiving yards and eight touchdowns.
He stands at 6-foot and 206 pounds, which is good size for an NFL playmaker. Heidenreich has the ability to be an all-purpose player for an NFL team if given the opportunity.
Projected Draft Range: Undrafted Free Agent
Joe Royer, TE
Royer started his career at Ohio State in 2021. Over three seasons with the Buckeyes, Royer caught four passes for 24 yards. He transferred to Cincinnati for the 2024 season. In his two seasons with the Bearcats, Royer has hauled in 79 passes for 937 yards and seven touchdowns.
At 6-foot-5 and 250 pounds, Royer has solid size for an NFL tight end. He has solid athleticism and is able to separate. Continuing to work on his blocking can make him more of a viable option as an in-line tight end.
Projected Draft Range: Third Round Pick-Fifth Round Pick
Evan Tengesdahl, IOL
Tengesdahl joined Cincinnati as a freshman in 2023, but redshirted. He was a reserve in 2024, but had some playing time. This year has been his first as a starter and he has impressed. He was named Second Team All-Big 12 for his play.
He stands at 6-foot-3 and 320 pounds, which is solid size for an interior offensive lineman. Tengesdahl had a good first year as a starter, but as just a redshirt sophomore, he is probably best served going back to school to build his stock.
Projected Draft Range: Undrafted Free Agent
Other Draft Prospects: RB Evan Pryor (UFA)
Opt-outs/Injuries: LB Jake Golday (2nd-4th), DL Dontay Corleone (3rd-5th)
