NFL Draft Prospects in the 2026 Armed Forces Bowl

Publish Date: December 23, 2025

The bowl season gives fans and scouts alike a chance to analyze NFL Draft prospects against solid competition. Bowl scheduling allows all eyes to be on each game. Here are the NFL Draft prospects in the 2026 Armed Forces Bowl.

Rice Owls Draft Prospects

Ty Morris, LB

Morris joined Rice in 2023 and played as a true freshman. He had 10 total tackles that year, then as a sophomore registered 56 total tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss and four sacks. This season, he has totaled 82 total tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks.

At 6-foot-2 and 229 pounds, Morris has solid size for an NFL linebacker, but can continue to fill out his frame. He has good pursuit and provides some added pass rush help. Morris is just a junior and could return to school to try to improve his stock.

Projected Draft Range: Undrafted Free Agent

Omari Porter, CB

Porter played the first five seasons of his college career for the Stanford Cardinal. He had 30 total tackles and one interception in his time as a Cardinal. Porter transferred to Rice for the 2025 season. He has tallied 35 total tackles and eight passes defended this season.

He stands ay 6-foot-2 and 198 pounds, giving him good size for an NFL corner. His production this season helps his case to make an NFL roster, but he will need to play special teams and excel at them too.

Projected Draft Range: Undrafted Free Agent

Texas State Bobcats Draft Prospects

Dorion Strawn, OT

Strawn played two seasons at Incarnate Word before transferring to Texas State in 2023. He played left guard in 2023, then moved over to tackle in 2024. Strawn really impressed in 2025, as he was a First Team All-Sun Belt selection.

At 6-foot-6 and 315 pounds, Strawn has good size for an NFL offensive lineman. His ability to play both guard and tackle will help his case to make an NFL roster, as will his solid play at the FCS and FBS levels of college football.

Projected Draft Range: Undrafted Free Agent

Lincoln Pare, RB

Pare played for two seasons at Arkansas Stae to start his career. He had 905 rushing yards, 368 receiving yards and six touchdowns. He transferred to Texas State in 2022. He missed 2023 due to injury, but throughout the rest of his Texas State career had 2,348 rushing yards, 669 receiving yards and 27 touchdowns.

He stands at 5-foot-9 and 200 pounds, which makes him a shorter, but well-built running back. His production as a runner and receiver is encouraging, but he’ll likely have to play special teams to earn his spot at the next level.

Projected Draft Range: Undrafted Free Agent
