The bowl season gives fans and scouts alike a chance to analyze NFL Draft prospects against solid competition. Bowl scheduling allows all eyes to be on each game. Here are the NFL Draft prospects in the 2025 Xbox Bowl.
Jacob Clark, QB
Clark spent three seasons at Minnesota to start his college career. He completed one pass attempt with the Golden Gophers for 39 yards. Following his three seasons at Minnesota, Clark transferred to Missouri State. After being the backup in 2023 and starting four games in 2024 before getting injured, Clark is now the quarterback for the Bears in their first year of FBS play. This season, he has passed for 2,895 yards, 24 touchdowns and 11 interceptions on 65.1 percent completion.
At 6-foot-5 and 220 pounds, Clark has prototypical size for an NFL quarterback. Only one full season as the starter could scare some teams away, but Clark played well. He may not be drafted, but could be picked up as an undrafted free agent and given time to develop by an NFL team.
Projected Draft Range: Undrafted Free Agent
Erick Cade, OT
Cade signed with Ole Miss out of high school, but did not play in his two seasons with the school. He started 10 games in 2024, splitting time between right guard and right tackle. This season, he has started the majority of the games for the Bears at left tackle, helping the offense gain over 390 yards per game and score 25.4 points per game.
He stands at 6-foot-7 and 345 pounds, which is great size for an NFL offensive tackle. His ability to play inside or out could help him, but he may stand out playing on the interior at the next level, where his strength can shine through. Cade is likely not going to be drafted, but could be a project worthy of development at the next level given his size.
Projected Draft Range: Undrafted Free Agent
Jaylen Raynor, QB
Raynor has had a lot of experience at quarterback for the Red Wolves over the last three seasons. In 2023, he passed for 2,550 yards, 17 touchdowns and seven interceptions on 58.2 percent completion. He also rushed for 373 yards and five touchdowns. For the 2024 season, he upped his passing yards, throwing for 2,783 yards, 16 touchdowns and 10 interceptions on 61.7 percent completion, while rushing for 387 yards and three touchdowns. This season, he has passed for 3,073 yards, 16 touchdowns and 11 interceptions on 67.2 percent completion. He has rushed for 434 yards and seven touchdowns as well.
At 6-foot and 202 pounds, Raynor is undersized for an NFL quarterback. He has nice dual-threat abilities, which helps boost his stock. Raynor is just a junior and is likely returning to school, whether at Arkansas State or somewhere else. He is a projected late-round pick or undrafted free agent.
Projected Draft Range: Sixth Round Pick-Undrafted Free Agent
Avante Dickerson, CB
Dickerson started his career at Oregon, where he played for two seasons. He registered five total tackles, then transferred to Utah State for the next two seasons. In his time with the Aggies, he had 36 total tackles, one interception and nine passes defended. For his last season of eligibility, Dickerson transferred to Arkansas State. Dickerson had 48 total tackles, two interceptions and four passes defended.
He is 5-foot-10 and 181 pounds, which is smaller for an NFL corner. Dickerson is a former four-star recruit who found some success in his final college season. That may be enough for an NFL team to take a chance on him, especially given his experience on special teams in his college career.
Projected Draft Range: Undrafted Free Agent
