The bowl season gives fans and scouts alike a chance to analyze NFL Draft prospects against solid competition. Bowl scheduling allows all eyes to be on each game. Here are the NFL Draft prospects in the 2025 Military Bowl.
Desmond Reid, RB
Reid started his college career at Western Carolina. In 18 games for the Catamounts, he rushed for 1,723 yards and 17 touchdowns. For the 2024 season, Reid transferred to Pittsburgh. In his first season with the Panthers, Reid had 966 rushing yards, 579 receiving yards and nine touchdowns. He battled injury in 2025, but still had 278 rushing yards, 317 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
At 5-foot-8 and 175 pounds, Reid is a smaller running back. He can continue filling out his frame to help him deal with the wear and tear of the NFL. Reid is shifty and can make people miss, but his injury-plagued season hurt his stock.
Projected Draft Range: Sixth Round Pick-Undrafted Free Agent
Ryan Baer, OT
Baer joined Pittsburgh in 2022 and redshirted in his first season. He jumped into the starting lineup for most games in 2023. In 2024, he split time at right and left tackle, starting all 13 games. This season, he has played left tackle for the Panthers and was named All-ACC Honorable Mention for his play.
He stands at 6-foot-7 and 325 pounds, which is good size for an NFL offensive tackle. Baer has played well, but has eligility remaining as a redshirt junior. A return to school to build his stock up is likely the smart move.
Projected Draft Range: Sixth Round Pick-Undrafted Free Agent
Other Draft Prospects: LB Rasheem Biles (6th-UFA), LB Kyle Louis (6th-UFA), S Cruce Brookins (6th-UFA), WR Kenny Johnson (6th-UFA), IOL DJ Williams (6th-UFA), DL Sean FitzSimmons (UFA)
Emmanuel Poku, IOL
Poku started his college career with ECU in 2022. He didn’t play in his first year at the school, then was a reserve in 2023. Poku started all 13 games during the 2024 season. This season, he moved from tackle to guard and has played well. He was named Second Team All-American Conference for his play.
At 6-foot-5 and 326 pounds, Poku has good size for an NFL offensive lineman. His ability to play multiple positions will help his stock. He is just a redshirt junior so a return to school or transfer could boost his stock.
Projected Draft Range: Sixth Round Pick-Undrafted Free Agent
Jimarion McCrimon, OT
McCrimon joined ECU in 2022 and didn’t play during his first year with the program. He made seven starts in 2024, showing growth during the season. In 2025, McCrimon was named First Team All-American Conference for his play.
He has solid size for the NFL, standing at 6-foot-5 and 307 pounds. McCrimon can continue to fill out his frame to help handle NFL strength at the next level. He is just a redshirt sophomore, so he still has time to return to school and develop his game further.
Projected Draft Range: Sixth Round Pick-Undrafted Free Agent
Other Draft Prospects: S Ja’Marley Riddle (UFA), WR Anthony Smith (UFA)
