

The bowl season gives fans and scouts alike a chance to analyze NFL Draft prospects against solid competition. Bowl scheduling allows all eyes to be on each game. Here are the NFL Draft prospects in the 2025 Gator Bowl.
J’Mari Taylor, RB
Taylor started his college career at NC Central of the FCS level. He played four seasons with the Eagles, finishing his time there with 1,882 rushing yards. Before the 2025 season, Taylor transferred to Virginia. This season for the Cavaliers, he has rushed for 1,062 yards and 14 touchdowns.
At 5-foot-9 and 204 pounds, Taylor is shorter, but well-built for a running back. His production at the FBS level is encouraging, as his ability to show his skills as a receiver in his time at Virginia. He may not get drafted, but he will get a shot to make an NFL roster.
Projected Draft Range: Sixth Round Pick-Undrafted Free Agent
Devin Neal, S
Neal began his college journey at Baylor in 2020. He played three seasons for the Bears, registering 66 tackles, two interceptions and one pass defended. Neal transferred to Louisville for the 2023 and 2024 seasons. Over his time at Louisville, he had 83 total tackles, four interceptions and six passes defended. In 2025 for Virginia, he totaled 77 tackles and six passes defended.
He stands 6-foot and 214 pounds, which gives him solid size for an NFL safety. He has plenty of experience, which will help his case, but he will likely need to play special teams to have a chance of making a roster.
Projected Draft Range: Sixth Round Pick-Undrafted Free Agent

Zion Young, EDGE
Young played two seasons at Michigan State to start his college career. With the Spartans, he had 47 combined tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks. He transferred to Missouri in 2024, impressing with 42 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks. His play improved this season, as he had 38 total tackles, 15 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks.
At 6-foot-6 and 262 pounds, Young has good size for an NFL edge rusher. He has shown to be a good run defender and can occasionally get after the passer. Young has a good floor as a prospect and can continue working on his pass rushing at the next level.
Projected Draft Range: Second Round Pick-Fourth Round Pick
Damon Wilson, EDGE
Wilson played two seasons for the Georgia Bulldogs at the start of his time in college. He had 26 total tackles, six tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks during his time at Georgia. Wilson transferred to Missouri before the 2025 season. In 2025, he had 20 total tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss and nine sacks on the season.
He has decent size for an NFL edge rusher at 6-foot-4 and 250 pounds. Wilson proved to be a good pass rusher at Missouri when given the reps. He still has eligibility remaining and could return to school to improve his stock.
Projected Draft Range: Third Round Pick-Fifth Round Pick
