The bowl season gives fans and scouts alike a chance to analyze NFL Draft prospects against solid competition. Bowl scheduling allows all eyes to be on each game. Here are the NFL Draft prospects in the 2025 Alamo Bowl.
Bishop Fitzgerald, S
Fitzgerald started his college career at the JUCO level. He then transferred to NC State for the 2023 and 2024 seasons. With the Wolfpack, he registered 97 total tackles, five interceptions and 11 passes defended. For the 2025 season, he transferred to USC. As a Trojan this season, he tallied 51 total tackles, five interceptions and three passes defended.
At 5-foot-11 and 205 pounds, he is shorter for an NFL safety, but has filled out frame. He has three years of production which will help him, along with the ball skills he displayed. Fitzgerald will likely have to play special teams to make an NFL roster.
Projected Draft Range: Sixth Round Pick-Undrafted Free Agent
KeeShawn Silver, DL
Silver played two years at UNC to start his college career. He had four total tackles during his time with the Tar Heels. After that, Silver transferred to Kentucky for two seasons. With the Wildcats, he racked up 43 tackles, three tackles for loss and one sack. This year for the Trojans, he has 17 tackles and one tackle for loss.
He stands at 6-foot-4 and 330 pounds, which is good size for an interior defensive lineman. Silver didn’t have the most production during his college career, but his experience and size will give him a shot to make a roster.
Projected Draft Range: Undrafted Free Agent
Other Draft Prospects: EDGE Braylan Shelby (UFA)
Opt-outs/injuries: WR Makai Lemon (1st), S Kamari Ramsey (2nd-4th), WR Ja’Kobi Lane (3rd-5th), EDGE Anthony Lucas (4th-6th), LB Eric Gentry (6th-UFA), TE Lake McRee (6th-UFA)
Eric McAlister, WR
McAlister spent the first two seasons of his college career with the Boise State Broncos. Over his time as a Bronco, he had 58 catches for 1,132 yards and nine touchdowns. He transferred to TCU in 2024. During his two seasons with the Horned Frogs, he has 103 catches for 1,883 yards and 15 touchdowns.
At 6-foot-3 and 205 pounds, McAlister has great size for an NFL receiver. His production, especially this last season, should be really encouraging to NFL teams. He may have to help on special teams to make a roster, but that could give him a chance to show his skills at wide receiver.
Projected Draft Range: Fifth Round Pick-Seventh Round Pick
Bud Clark, S
Clark joined TCU in 2020, but didn’t play a lot in his first two seasons with the team. In 2022, he started and helped the Horned Frogs make the National Championship Game. He posted 45 tackles, five interceptions and five passes defended. Clark returned in 2023, posting 33 tackles, three interceptions and six passes defended. For the 2024 season, he amassed 67 total tackles, three passes defended and three interceptions. In 2025, he has 54 total tackles, four interceptions and five passes defended.
He has nice height for a safety at 6-foot-2, but can continue to fill out his frame, as he is 190 pounds. Clark has made plenty of plays on the ball during his college career and he has experience on special teams which helps his chance of making a roster.
Other Draft Prospects: S Jamel Johnson (6th-UFA), OT Ben Taylor-Whitfield (UFA), DL Markis Deal (UFA), EDGE Devean Deal (UFA), WR Jordan Dwyer (UFA), WR Joseph Manjack (UFA)
