NFL Draft Prospects in the 2025 68 Ventures Bowl

Publish Date: December 10, 2025

The bowl season gives fans and scouts alike a chance to analyze NFL Draft prospects against solid competition. Bowl scheduling allows all eyes to be on each game. Here are the NFL Draft prospects in the 2025 68 Ventures Bowl.

Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns Draft Prospects

Shelton Sampson, WR

Sampson was a four-star recruit who stayed in the state of Louisiana to play for LSU. He played two seasons at LSU, but did not record a catch. Sampson transferred to Louisiana this season and has produced. He finished the season with 29 catches for 495 yards and five touchdowns in nine games played.

At 6-foot-4 and 195 pounds, Sampson has a big body that he can continue to fill out. He is a redshirt sophomore, who may need more time to develop or to transfer back up to a bigger school to prove himself. Leaving for the draft is maybe a bit premature, but he has some potential.

Projected Draft Range: Undrafted Free Agent

Tyree Skipper, S

Skipper was a three-star recruit who has been at Louisiana since 2020. He didn’t play much in his first two seasons with the team. In 2022, he played more and totaled 29 tackles and a pass defended. For the 2023 season, he racked up 55 tackles, three interceptions and three passes defended. In 2024, he had 41 total tackles, four interceptions and two passes defended. This season, he has 52 total tackles, one interception and one pass defended. He missed some time with a suspension due to an incident after the game against Texas State.

At 6-foot-2 and 207 pounds, Skipper has good size for an NFL safety. Teams will have to look into his suspension and see if that is something that could happen again. He has plenty of experience and could have a chance to make an NFL team if given the chance.

Projected Draft Range: Undrafted Free Agent

Delaware Blue Hens Draft Prospects

Nick Minicucci, QB

Minicucci joined Delaware in 2023. During that season he started one game and appeared in six. He started five games in 2024, which was the Blue Hens’ last season at the FCS level. Minicucci has been the full-time starter this season, Delaware’s first at the FCS level. He has passed for 3,507 yards, 22 touchdowns and seven interceptions on 62.9 percent completion.

He stands at 6-foot-2 and 215 pounds which is decent size for an NFL quarterback. Minicucci saw success in his first season as the starter at Delaware, but will likely return to school or transfer, rather than enter the draft. With another year, he could be a draftable quarterback.

Projected Draft Range: Undrafted Free Agent

Kyre Duplessis, WR

Duplessis started his college career at Coastal Carolina in 2020. He played five seasons for the Chanticleers. Duplessis played most of his time on special teams, but had 348 receiving yards over his five seasons at Coastal Carolina. This season at Delaware, Duplessis had the best season of his career with 55 catches for 755 yards and five touchdowns.

At 5-foot-10 and 185 pounds, Duplessis is a smaller receiver and can add some weight to his frame. His one-year of production at wide receiver helps, but his best path to make a roster is likely on special teams, where he has plenty of experience.

Projected Draft Range: Undrafted Free Agent
