The bowl season gives fans and scouts alike a chance to analyze NFL Draft prospects against solid competition. Bowl scheduling allows all eyes to be on each game. Here are the NFL Draft prospects in the 2022 Liberty Bowl.
Kansas Jayhawks Draft Prospects
Kenny Logan, S
Logan has been at Kansas for four seasons and has moved from corner to safety during his time with the Jayhawks. As a Jayhawk, Logan has 278 total tackles, five interceptions and 13 passes defended. This season, Logan has registered 96 total tackles, two interceptions and four passes defended.
He has adequate size for an NFL safety at 6-foot and 195 pounds. His experience at corner earlier in his career shows, as he is solid in coverage. Logan also showed his tackling ability once moving to safety, which helps his stock.
Projected Draft Range: Fifth Round Pick-Seventh Round Pick
Jalon Daniels, QB
Daniels has been on the field for three different seasons in a Jayhawks uniform. He has passed for 3,048 yards, 21 touchdowns and nine interceptions on 61.3 percent completion. This season, in eight games played, Daniels has 1,470 passing yards, 13 touchdowns and two interceptions on 65.7 percent completion. He also has 507 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground in his career.
He is a little below the size of a typical NFL quarterback at 6-foot and 203 pounds. Daniels played great this season to get Kansas bowl-eligible and is a dual-threat. He still has eligibility remaining and may return to school to build on his success this season.
Projected Draft Range: Undrafted Free Agent
Arkansas Razorbacks Draft Prospects
Beaux Limmer, OG/C
Limmer redshirted his first year on campus and then made five starts as a redshirt sophomore in 2020. He started 11 games at guard in 2021 and was honored by Phil Steele as a Fourth Team All-SEC. This season he has returned to the starting lineup and helped Arkansas get bowl-eligible for the second-straight season.
At 6-foot-5 and 302 pounds, Limmer has great size, especially for an interior offensive lineman at the next level. He has been equally impressive as a run and pass blocker. With eligibility remaining, Limmer could return to school to continue to work on his craft.
Projected Draft Range: Fourth Round Pick-Sixth Round Pick
Dwight McGlothern, CB
McGlothern started his career at LSU before playing at Arkansas this season. For his career, he has 83 total tackles, four interceptions and 16 passes defended. In 2022 for the Razorbacks, he has 42 total tackles, three interceptions and nine passes defended.
While he is a little light, he has the measurables to be a good outside corner at 6-foot-2 and 182 pounds. He showed good ball skills this season, but also did get beat at times this season. The smart move is probably returning to school and improving.
Projected Draft Range: Sixth Round Pick-Undrafted Free Agent
