Kenyon Sadiq NFL Draft Profile

Publish Date: February 13, 2026

The 2026 NFL Draft will be a great event for teams to start building for their future. Here is the Kenyon Sadiq NFL Draft Profile.

Kenyon Sadiq Background

Position: Tight End

School: Oregon

Size: 6-foot-3, 245 pounds

Class: Junior

2025 stats: 51 receptions, 560 receiving yards, 11.0 yards per reception, 8 touchdown receptions, 3 rushes, 6 rushing yards

Sadiq was a four-star recruit in the class of 2023 who signed with Oregon out of Idaho. He had just five catches for 24 yards and a touchdown as a freshman in limited playing time. In 2024, Sadiq caught 24 passes for 308 yards and two touchdowns. His play helped Oregon to an undefeated regular season, but they lost in the CFP. For the 2025 season, he posted strong numbers with 51 catches for 560 yards and eight touchdowns. Oregon made the CFP again in 2025, but lost in the semifinals.

After the CFP, Sadiq declared for the 2026 NFL Draft. He is currently projected to be a first-round pick.

Kenyon Sadiq Strengths

Sadiq is a great athlete for a tight end. He has good acceleration and turns it into good top end speed for the position. Sadiq also has good agility. He moves well for his size and because of his athleticism to go with it, presents a matchup problem. Sadiq can be too big for defensive backs and too quick for linebackers to cover.

His quickness and agility help him to be a good route runner. Especially for a tight end, he gets in and out of his breaks quickly. This allows him to create separation and present an open target to quarterbacks. He has also shown the ability to find the soft spot vs. zone coverage to get open.

Once the ball is in his hands, he is a threat to pick up extra yardage. He transitions to a runner well, picking up speed after the catch. Sadiq has good vision in the open field, running to open space. Sadiq is decently shifty for a tight end as well, but is also hard for a lot of defenders to bring to the ground because of his combination of speed and size.

Kenyon Sadiq Weaknesses

Sadiq has a well-filled out frame, but he isn’t the biggest tight end. He stands at 6-foot-3 and 245 pounds, which will put him below the desired height and weight for an NFL tight end. His athleticism still gives him a nice catch radius, but his size makes it hard to project him playing in-line routinely at the next level.

His size impacts his ability to block well. He is a good blocker in space, but can struggle to sustain his blocks on the line of scrimmage. Sadiq can refine his technique to use his hands better and to avoid lunging. His size will limit him, but technique improvements can make him a much more versatile tight end.

During his college career, he struggled with drops. He had six drops during the 2025 season. Sadiq has his fair share of focus drops and needs to make sure he catches the easy ones. He makes a decent amount of contested catches, but can improve in this area as well to really show the ability to work well in traffic.

Projected Draft Range: First Round Pick

Draft Grade: First Round Pick
