The 2021 NFL Draft will be a great event for teams to start building for their future. Here is the Dillon Radunz 2021 NFL Draft Profile.

Size: 6-foot-6, 299 pounds
Class: Senior

Radunz is an FCS tackle, but has played well enough to be a good 2021 NFL Draft prospect. With a good showing in the Senior Bowl, Radunz could continue to play himself into first round consideration.
He redshirted his first year on campus in 2016. In 2017, he had a season-ending injury in the first game. In 2018, Radunz started all 15 games as a sophomore at left tackle, helping the Bison win the FCS Championship. He was named an All-American by several different media outlets in 2019, as he played well and the Bison won another Championship. North Dakota State and Radunz only played one game in the fall season, which they won against Central Arkansas.
With his one game played for the 2020 season, Radunz is now preparing for the 2021 NFL Draft and has already been invited to the Senior Bowl. He is currently projected to be taken at some point in the early rounds of the NFL Draft.

Radunz has a solid frame for an offensive tackle in the NFL. He stands at 6-foot-6, which is ample size to play tackle. In addition to his height, Radunz also appears to have good length, which is important in holding off pass rushers. While he is just 299 pounds, it looks like he can add more weight to his frame once in an NFL training program.
His run blocking jumps out on tape. He has the capability to move his man completely out of the way to clear a hole for the ball carrier. His physicality and power come into play here, as he engages with a defender and then keeps his legs moving to drive the defender out of the way.
He also has great awareness, which helps his games. Radunz noted how he would have to help make protection calls at the line of scrimmage in 2019 with a freshman starting at quarterback. He understands the game and knows how defenses are trying to attack the offense. Radunz will pick up free rushers.
While he is a good run blocker as a body mover, Radunz struggled at times to get to the second level. He has solid athleticism, but when it comes to getting off his initial block and getting to the second level, he can have trouble.
He was a solid pass blocker in college, there are some concerns that Radunz will not be able to handle NFL pass rushers as well. He isn’t super athletic and didn’t face the level of competition that is comparable to the NFL at the FCS level. The level of competition could give him some problems, at least early in his career when he will have to learn how to adjust.
Radunz can polish his technique before getting to the next level. His hands can get too wide and at times he lunges after a defender, which makes him lose his balance. If he can clean up these two things, he will be a much more technical tackle.
