2027 NFL Mock Draft August 27

The 2026 football season is starting, but it is never too early to look ahead. Here is the 2027 NFL Mock Draft August 27.

Note: This draft order is based on current Super Bowl odds.

1. Arizona Cardinals- Arch Manning, QB, Texas

The Cardinals need a quarterback of the future, especially if they end up drafting highly in the 2027 NFL Draft. Manning played well down the stretch for Texas last season. He is a good athlete who can really improve this season if his mechanics are improved.

2. Miami Dolphins- Dante Moore, QB, Oregon

Moore decided to return to Oregon for another season of development after being projected to be a top-five pick last season. He has a quick release and is accurate. While he doesn’t have the biggest arm, he is an efficient quarterback who can take over for the Dolphins.

3. New York Jets- CJ Carr, QB, Notre Dame

The Jets will also likely want a quarterback of the future after this season. Carr developed well through the 2025 season, his first season of collegiate action. Carr has plenty of poise in the pocket and can make accurate throws.

4. Cleveland Browns- LaNorris Sellers, QB, South Carolina

Sellers is the most athletic quarterback of the first bunch, with good speed, strength and arm talent. He will have some things to clean up, including playing from the pocket, but the physical traits are there. Cleveland should need a new quarterback next season and they took a player with similar skills in Taylen Green in the 2026 NFL Draft, so they may prefer his skill set.

5. Las Vegas Raiders- Jeremiah Smith, WR, Ohio State

Smith will likely be the first non-quarterback selected in the 2027 NFL Draft. He is a wide receiver who has great size, athleticism and production at the collegiate level. Fernando Mendoza will need more help at receiver next season.

6. Tennessee Titans- Leonard Moore, CB, Notre Dame

The Titans drafted Keldric Faulk for the defensive line, while also helping their offense in the 2026 NFL Draft. Now, they can get a shutdown corner in Moore, who has battled well with some of the top receivers in college football over the last few seasons.

7. New Orleans Saints- Colin Simmons, EDGE, Texas 

Simmons is an athletic edge rusher who has no difficulty bending around the edge. He is all over the field for Texas and that could really help the Saints’ pass rush for the future.

8. Carolina Panthers- Dylan Stewart, EDGE, South Carolina

Carolina signed Jaelen Phillips, but they could get more on the edge for the future. Stewart has good size and athleticism, but will need to have more production this season to help his already great stock.

9. Atlanta Falcons- Darian Mensah, QB, Miami

If the Falcons don’t make progress this year, they will be in the market for a quarterback. Mensah has good accuracy and has played well at two stops in college, but now has a new challenge at Miami.

10. New York Giants- Trevor Goosby, OT, Texas

Goosby is another player who could’ve gone pro, but decided to return to school. He will need to improve on his ability to see pressure, but could be the first tackle taken if he improves in that area. The Giants could draft him and play him at right tackle, with Andrew Thomas manning the left tackle spot.

11. Washington Commanders- Cam Coleman, WR, Texas

Washington has Terry McLaurin and Stefon Diggs, but getting a young star at receiver could really help Jayden Daniels develop further. Coleman has good size, body control and athleticism for the position.

12. Pittsburgh Steelers- Julian Sayin, QB, Ohio State 

The Steelers seem to like Drew Allar and Will Howard as young quarterbacks to take over when Aaron Rodgers decides to retire. But a franchise that doesn’t normally draft this high should take a quarterback if any grade out well for them. Sayin isn’t a great athlete, but plays with a high IQ and is accurate.

13. New York Jets (via IND)- Zabien Brown, CB, Alabama

The Jets added a lot on offense in the 2026 draft and their first pick in this mock. Brown has plenty of experience during his time at Alabama and has battled well with great receivers.

14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Ellis Robinson IV, CB, Georgia

The Buccaneers have some promising young corners, but if they don’t pan out, Robinson can really help the room as a player who has had a lot of good reps at Georgia.

15. Minnesota Vikings- KJ Bolden, S, Georgia

With Harrison Smith retiring, the Vikings could use another franchise safety and Bolden can fill that role as a player who can do a little of everything.

16. Chicago Bears- Jordan Seaton, OT, LSU

The Bears could go with an edge rusher, but if Seaton falls, he should be the pick. He is a good athlete who could help protect the blindside for Caleb Williams for a long time.

17. Jacksonville Jaguars- David Stone, DL, Oklahoma

The Jaguars have Arik Armstead in the middle, but could use more and Stone is a disruptive player who can really open things up for others.

18. New York Jets (via DAL)- Matayo Uiagalelei, EDGE, Oregon

After selecting David Bailey last season, the Jets can add more to their pass rush with Uiagalelei. While the sack production wasn’t there for him last season, he can get pressure.

19. Dallas Cowboys (via GB)- Kelley Jones, CB, Mississippi State

The Cowboys did a great job of improving up front on defense and drafting Caleb Downs at safety. To really improve the defense now, they can select a corner like Jones, who has great height and length for the position.

20. Denver Broncos- Will Echoles, DL, Ole Miss

Denver already has a great defense and Echoles can add another big body to the middle in their 3-4 scheme. He has good burst at the snap and athleticism for his size.

21. Cincinnati Bengals- Cayden Green, OT, Missouri

Orlando Brown Jr. hasn’t played great football in a few years. Green has played tackle and guard at the college level and has succeeded at both.

22. Philadelphia Eagles- Trey’Dez Green, TE, LSU

Dallas Goedert signed a one-year extension with the Eagles and will be a free agent following the 2026 season. Green has a unique blend of size and athleticism, making him a matchup nightmare.

23. Detroit Lions- Quincy Rhodes, EDGE, Arkansas

Rhodes is a bigger, physical edge rusher, which the Lions may like. He can line up across from Aidan Hutchinson, but also should be able to rush from the interior.

24. San Francisco 49ers- Tae Johnson, S, Notre Dame

The 49ers have some holes on defense and getting Johnson can help the back end, as he has good range.

25. Houston Texans- Jacarrius Peak, OT, South Carolina

Peak is recovering from an offseason knee injury, but showed good athleticism already in his college career. Now that the defense is well-built, the offensive line should be focused on for the future.

26. Kansas City Chiefs- Jamari Johnson, TE, Oregon

Travis Kelce has mulled retirement in recent offseasons and this could be the last run. Johnson had over 500 receiving yards last season for Oregon while sharing targets at the tight end position with Kenyon Sadiq.

27. New England Patriots- A’Mauri Washington, DL, Oregon

Washington can help on the interior as a player who can shoot gaps.

28. Los Angeles Chargers- Carter Smith, OT, Indiana

When the offensive line dealt with injuries, the Chargers struggled. Smith played left tackle well at Indiana, but could slide into guard at the next level.

29. Baltimore Ravens- Ryan Coleman-Williams, WR, Alabama

The Ravens just re-signed Zay Flowers and have some young receivers, but if they don’t pan out this season, they may want to take another. Coleman-Williams struggled last season after a great freshman season, so a bounce back will be needed for him to be picked highly.

30. Seattle Seahawks- Nick Marsh, WR, Indiana

Marsh is transferring from Michigan State to Indiana with a chance to improve his stock. The Seahawks have an aging Cooper-Kupp, so they may want another receiver to add in the offense.

31. Buffalo Bills- Charlie Becker, WR, Indiana

The Bills have Khalil Shakir and DJ Moore, but a big outside receiver like Becker could help diversify the offense. He made plenty of plays and contested catches for Indiana down the stretch last season.

32. Cleveland Browns (via LAR)- Justin Scott, DL, Miami

Malike Collins is aging and will likely be a free agent this offseason. Scott can play next to Mason Graham to give the Browns a promising young interior defensive line.
