2026 NFL Draft Prospect Watchlist: Wide Receivers

Publish Date: May 6, 2025

The 2025 NFL Draft is over and teams are getting comfortable with their new draft picks. The next class of players is getting prepared now for another year of college football. Each position will be analyzed in the coming days. Here is the 2026 NFL Draft prospect watchlist: Wide Receivers.

Denzel Boston, Washington Huskies

Boston was a three-star recruit in the class of 2022 who signed with Washington to stay in-state. In his first two seasons, he played sparingly, registering 15 receiving yards as a freshman and 51 as a sophomore. During the 2024 season, he had more of an opportunity and produced with 63 receptions for 834 yards and nine touchdowns. His play helped the Huskies win six games.

He is a bigger target at 6-foot-4 and 209 pounds, making him a matchup problem for smaller defensive backs. Boston makes contested catches and is better after the catch than his size would imply. His route running can use some improvement and his blocking could be better given his size. After one good season, if Boston can play well again in 2026, he could be a high draft pick.

Eric Singleton, Auburn Tigers

Singleton was a three-star recruit who stayed in-state to play for Georgia Tech in the class of 2023. He impressed as a freshman with 48 catches for 714 yards and six touchdowns. He helped the team win seven games that season. In 2024, he hauled in 56 passes for 754 yards and three touchdowns. His play aided the team in winning in seven games again last season. This offseason he made the decision to transfer to Auburn.

He has track-level speed and is able to produce big plays for an offense. Singleton has good ball skills as a deep threat, but also has the ability to pick up yardage with the ball in his hands. He has good route-running ability to create separation. Singleton is smaller at 5-foot-10 and 176 pounds and will need to add strength to his game. He’ll likely be a slot-only player in the NFL, but still can be picked early in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Carnell Tate, Ohio State Buckeyes

In the class of 2023, Tate signed with Ohio State as a five-star prospect. He played some as a freshman, registering 18 catches for 264 yards and one touchdown. His role increased in 2024, as he caught 52 passes for 733 yards and four touchdowns. Tate’s play helped Ohio State win the national championship.

He has a solid frame at 6-foot-3 and 193 pounds, but could fill it out a bit more for the next level. Tate has solid route running who can pick up yards after the catch. He finds the soft spot vs. zone coverage well and is a solid athlete. Tate lacks top-end speed and can show he can beat press coverage more in 2025. Another good season could have him be another first round pick for Ohio State at the receiver position.

Jordyn Tyson, Arizona State Sun Devils

Tyson was a three-star recruit in the class of 2022 who signed with Colorado out of Texas. In his freshman season at Colorado, he had 22 receptions for 470 yards and four touchdowns. He transferred to Arizona State in 2023 and redshirted. In 2024, he showed his development with 75 catches for 1,101 yards and 10 touchdowns. His play led the Sun Devils win 11 games and make the CFP.

He has nice releases at the line of scrimmage and is a good route-runner. Tyson has good run-after-the-catch ability, showing off his good athleticism. He can play inside or out and has good hands. Filling out his frame and improving his play strength will help. He is also recovering from a shoulder injury that cost him the end of the 2024 season. Another good season will cement Tyson as a top draft prospect.

Antonio Williams, Clemson Tigers

In 2022, Williams was a four-star recruit who stayed in-state to play for Clemson. He played well as a freshman, catching 56 passes for 604 receiving yards and four touchdowns. In 2023, he played in just five games due to injury, but had 22 receptions for 224 yards and two touchdowns. He returned in 2024 and showed improvement with 75 catches for 904 yards and 11 touchdowns. His play helped the Tigers win 10 games and make the CFP.

He has a small frame with a limited catch radius and will need to add strength to his frame. Williams could be limited to the slot in the NFL. He is great with the ball in his hands, which includes when he is a returner. His speed allows him to be a deep threat and he tracks the ball well. With a healthy season in 2025, Williams can help Clemson and boost his stock.

Other Prospects to Watch

Aaron Anderson, LSU Tigers- Anderson may be small, but he plays bigger than his size and has good explosiveness. He stood out last season and is in store for a huge 2025.

Zachariah Branch, Georgia BulldogsBranch has plenty of speed and produced a decent amount at USC. Now, he is going to Georgia, where he will have a chance to improve his consistency.

Kevin Concepcion, Texas A&M Aggies- After a great freshman season at NC State, Concepcion’s production dipped in 2024. He transferred to Texas A&M, where he will have to improve this season to help his draft stock.

Malachi Fields, Virginia Cavaliers-  Fields is a big-bodied, possession receiver who uses his size to his advantage. He runs hard after the catch and can break tackles, but will need to improve his route-running to create more separation.

Ja’Kobi Lane, USC Trojans-  Lane will need to fill out his frame, but he has a big catch radius. He is a red zone threat and wins 50-50 balls. He’s limited as a route-runner and in his ability after the catch, but his size creates a good mismatch problem for defenses.
