2026 NFL Draft Prospect Watchlist: Offensive Tackles

Publish Date: May 7, 2025

The 2025 NFL Draft is over and teams are getting comfortable with their new draft picks. The next class of players is getting prepared now for another year of college football. Each position will be analyzed in the coming days. Here is the 2026 NFL Draft prospect watchlist: Offensive Tackles.

Spencer Fano, Utah Utes

Fano was a four-star recruit in the class of 2023, who decided to stay in his home state of Utah to play for the Utes. Fano started most of the games his freshman season, getting reps at both left and right tackle. His play helped the Utes win eight games. In 2024, Fano played right tackle and helped Utah win five games.

He has good athleticism with the ability to get to the second level and mirror in pass protection. Fano has heavy hands, but could place them better. He has good recognition of pressure and finishes plays well. If Fano can fill out his frame and anchor better next season, he could be selected early in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Francis Mauigoa, Miami Hurricanes

In the class of 2023, Mauigoa was a five-star recruit who decided to stay in-state to play for Miami. He was an All-ACC Honorable Mention as a freshman at right tackle, helping Miami win seven games. Mauigoa returned in 2024 and helped him be an All-ACC Second Team selection. He led the team to a 10-win season.

He has solid size at 6-foot-6 and 315 pounds, but he also moves well for his size. Mauigoa mirrors decently well in pass pro and can get to the second level as a run blocker. He has strong hands and nice flexibility. This season, he can work on picking up pressure, seeing it sooner, and his hand placement. If he can do that and stay patient without lunging, Mauigoa has a bright future.

Kadyn Proctor, Alabama Crimson Tide

Proctor was a five-star prospect in the class of 2023 who signed with Alabama out of Iowa. He was named to the Freshman All-American Team for his play in 2023. His play helped the Crimson Tide win 12 games. After a brief stint transferring to Iowa, he transferred back to Alabama for 2024. He was Second Team All-SEC and led the Crimson Tide to nine wins.

At 6-foot-7 and 360 pounds, Proctor is a massive tackle who possesses great strength. He has strong hands and can move people in the run game. Proctor moves well for his size and finishes blocks well. His hand placement and pad level both need to improve. If he has another solid season he could be the first offensive tackle off the board in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Isaiah World, Oregon Ducks

World was a three-star recruit in the class of 2021 who signed with Nevada out of California. He redshirted in his first season, then started 10 games in 2022. Nevada struggled that season, but World was a bright spot. In 2023, World was All-Mountain West Honorable Mention for his play at left tackle, but Nevada had just two wins. For the 2024 season, World repeated as an All-Mountain West Honorable Mention and the Wolf Pack. The team still didn’t play well and World transferred to Oregon for the 2025 season.

At 6-foot-8 and 312 pounds, World has a great frame and can fill it out a bit more. This will help him anchor better in pass pro. He moves well for his size, as he gets to the second level well and mirrors pass rushers effectively. At Oregon he will face a better competition and will have to keep his pad level down, but a good season can make him an early pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Other Draft Prospects to Watch

Austin Barber, Florida Gators- Barber joined Florida in 2021 and has plenty of experience at left tackle for the Gators. He has shown proficiency in pass blocking.

Cayden Green, Missouri Tigers- After starting his career at Oklahoma, Green transferred to Missouri, where he has a chance to shine this season.

Charles Jagusah, Notre Dame Fighting Irish- Jagusah battled injuries last season, but has experience at left tackle and at guard. If he stays healthy, his stock could rise.

Caleb Lomu, Utah Utes- After redshirting in 2023, Lomu took over at left tackle for Utah in 2024 and showed some promise.

Blake Miller, Clemson Tigers- Miller has great experience in college and will have to play well for Clemson to reach their full potential in 2025.

Ethan Onianwa, Ohio State Buckeyes- Onianwa started his career at Rice and now is making a huge jump over to Ohio State.

Elijah Pritchett, Nebraska Cornhuskers-  After starting his career at Alabama and getting playing time, Pritchett now joins Nebraska for the 2025 season.
