The NFL Draft is finally here and teams are waiting to make their selections. Here is the 2024 NFL Mock Draft April 25.
1. Chicago Bears (via CAR)- Caleb Williams, QB, USC
Caleb Williams seems to be the pick for the Bears. He can play out of structure and make big plays, but will need to work on getting the ball out of his hand quicker at the NFL level.
2. Washington Commanders- Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU
Daniels and Drake Maye are both in consideration here, but Daniels’s ability to make plays with his plays with his legs gives him the edge.
3. New England Patriots- Drake Maye, QB, UNC
The Patriots are rumored to be trading down, but if they keep the pick, they should take one of the top quarterbacks. Maye didn’t play the greatest this past year, but impressed before that during his time in college.
4. Arizona Cardinals- Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State
Arizona has stated they will continue to build around Kyler Murray. They can get the top wide receiver prospect in several years in Harrison, who has good size, but also very good fundamentals.
5. Los Angeles Chargers- Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
After shedding the salaries of Keenan Allen and Mike Williams this offseason, the Chargers need help at the position. Nabers has great speed and can create big plays.
6. New York Giants- Rome Odunze, WR, Washington
The Giants have spent a lot of early picks on receivers, but haven’t had any develop into stars. If Daniel Jones is going to be the quarterback next season, he’ll need more help.
7. Tennessee Titans- Joe Alt, OT, Notre Dame
After acquiring some wide receivers to help Will Levis, the Titans need to continue building the offensive line. Alt is the top tackle in the class.
8. Atlanta Falcons- Dallas Turner, EDGE, Alabama
Improving the defense has been on the agenda for years. Turner has great athleticism and plays with an edge.
9. Chicago Bears- Byron Murphy, DL, Texas
With none of the top three receivers on the board, the Bears can turn to their defense to improve. Murphy can create pressure from the interior, making him an appealing prospect.
10. New York Jets- Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia
The Jets could go with an offensive lineman, but they’ve addressed that a little bit in free agency. Bowers can give Rodgers another weapon to utilize next season.
11. Minnesota Vikings- J.J. McCarthy, QB, Michigan
Minnesota is a candidate to move up and draft a quarterback, but with no trades in this mock, they get one at their original pick. McCarthy managed games well and did make some clutch throws, but wasn’t able to show as much volume as other prospects.
12. Denver Broncos- Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama
The Broncos miss out on a quarterback here. If this happens they need to turn to their defense. Getting a corner across from Pat Surtain is needed and Arnold has good instincts.
13. Las Vegas Raiders- Michael Penix Jr., QB, Washington
The rumors are starting that Penix may go earlier than expected. He is a great pocket passer who can attack teams downfield.
14. New Orleans Saints- Olu Fashanu, OT, Penn State
The Saints are tied to Derek Carr and need to protect him moving forward. Fashanu has great athleticism and can add to his strength at the next level.
15. Indianapolis Colts- Quinyon Mitchell, CB, Toledo
Improving the secondary could be in the cards for the Colts. Mitchell has great ball skills to help.
16. Seattle Seahawks- Laiatu Latu, EDGE, UCLA
The Seahawks need to rush the passer better next year and Latu is the most pro-ready pass rusher in the draft.
17. Jacksonville Jaguars- Brian Thomas Jr., WR, LSU
While the Jaguars did get Gabe Davis in free agency, they can put he and Thomas Jr. on the outside and let Christian Kirk play in the slot.
18. Cincinnati Bengals- Taliese Fuaga, OT, Oregon State
The Bengals signed Trent Brown to a one-year deal at right tackle. Fuaga could be the right tackle of the future.
19. Los Angeles Rams- Johnny Newton, DL, Illinois
After Aaron Donald retired, the Rams need more defensive linemen. Newton isn’t the biggest, but should fit into the Rams’ 3-4 scheme.
20. Pittsburgh Steelers- JC Latham, OT, Alabama
Getting Russell Wilson can help the offense, but the Steelers need to improve the offensive line play to make him more effective.
21. Miami Dolphins- Troy Fautanu, IOL, Washington
The Dolphins need to continue protecting Tua Tagovailoa. Fautanu played tackle in college but could be a mobile guard, which could allow him to fit in with what the Dolphins value.
22. Philadelphia Eagles- Nate Wiggins, CB, Clemson
Philadelphia needs to get younger at the corner position and Wiggins plays with speed and aggression.
23. Minnesota Vikings (via CLE)- Cooper DeJean, CB, Iowa
The Vikings drafted their quarterback earlier and now can get a corner, as they struggled in the secondary last season.
24. Dallas Cowboys- Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia
Mims didn’t play much in college, but impressed when he did. Dallas can move offensive linemen inside and have done so in the past, so this could help in more way than one.
25. Green Bay Packers- Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB, Alabama
The Packers could use a corner across from Jaire Alexander. McKinstry has some questions with his speed, but has plenty of college experience.
26. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Jackson Powers-Johnson, IOL, Oregon
Over the last few years, the Bucs have lost a lot of interior linemen. Powers-Johnson is the most impressive center in the class.
27. Arizona Cardinals (via Hou)- Jared Verse, EDGE, Florida State
Arizona needs to get more pass-rushing production and if Verse falls to them, they can feel confident he will help.
28. Buffalo Bills- Adonai Mitchell, WR, Texas
The Bills traded away Stefon Diggs and need to get a receiver in the draft. Mitchell has a big body and can stretch the field.
29. Detroit Lions- Chop Robinson, EDGE, Penn State
Robinson tests well, but doesn’t have great production. He can be a different type of pass rusher for the Lions.
30. Baltimore Ravens- Xavier Worthy, WR, Texas
Could the Ravens go for another speedy receiver in the first round again this year? With Lamar Jackson at quarterback and the speed of Flowers and Worthy, the offense would be even more fun to watch.
31. San Francisco 49ers- Tyler Guyton, OT, Oklahoma
San Francisco’s offensive line is aging. Guyton can sit and learn behind Trent Williams before taking over at left tackle.
32. Kansas City Chiefs- Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State
With Rashee Rice and Marquise Brown being smaller receivers, Coleman could find a nice role in the Kansas City offense.
33. Carolina Panthers- Troy Franklin, WR, Oregon
The Panthers acquired Diontae Johnson this offseason, but need to give Bryce Young as much help as possible.
34. New England Patriots- Ladd McConkey, WR, Georgia
After getting a franchise quarterback in the first round, the Patriots can draft a weapon for him in the second.
35. Arizona Cardinals- T.J. Tampa, CB, Iowa State
Arizona needs to really revamp their defense in this draft after picking Marvin Harrison Jr. early.
36. Washington Commanders- Graham Barton, IOL, Duke
The Commanders can take a versatile offensive lineman like Barton, who can play anywhere on the line to protect Daniels.
37. Los Angeles Chargers- Jordan Morgan, OT, Arizona
Drafting Nabers early helps, but the offensive line still needs to be improved. The Chargers can do that by taking Morgan early on day two.
38. Tennessee Titans- Payton Wilson, LB, NC State
While Kenneth Murray was brought in, the Titans still need help at linebacker. Wilson is a first-round talent, but may drop due to medical issues.
39. Carolina Panthers (via NYG)- Ja’Tavion Sanders, TE, Texas
Sanders is another weapon that can help Young improve in year two.
40. Washington Commanders (via CHI)- Max Melton, CB, Rutgers
The secondary did not play well last season and the Commanders may be able to improve it on day two.
41. Green Bay Packers (via NYJ)- Christian Haynes, IOL, UConn
Green Bay has some new, but versatile faces on the offensive line. Haynes can play on the interior and start from day one.
42. Houston Texans (via MIN)- Kris Abrams-Draine, CB, Missouri
The Texans acquired Jeff Okudah this offseason, but really need an insurance policy at corner.
43. Atlanta Falcons- Edgerrin Cooper, LB, Texas A&M
Atlanta can continue to improve their defense with Cooper, who was all over the field for the Aggies last season.
44. Las Vegas Raiders- Ennis Rakestraw, CB, Missouri
A running back might be the pick here, but the Raiders do need to improve the secondary as well.
45. New Orleans Saints (via DEN)- Xavier Legette, WR, South Carolina
After improving the offensive line, the Saints can get another weapon for Derek Carr.
46. Indianapolis Colts- Dadrion Taylor-Demerson, S, Texas Tech
A wide receiver could be the play for the Colts, but another safety is needed as well.
47. New York Giants (via SEA)- Mike Sainristil, CB, Michigan
The Giants have to improve their secondary and Sainristil is a good slot corner.
48. Jacksonville Jaguars- T’Vondre Sweat, DL, Texas
Sweat has some off the field issues, but is the best nose tackle in the class.
49. Cincinnati Bengals- Malachi Corley, WR, Western Kentucky
The Bengals franchise-tagged Tee Higgins. Corley can play in the slot this year while Higgins is still with the team.
50. Philadelphia Eagles (via NO)- Junior Colson, LB, Michigan
Philadelphia signed Devin White, but he has struggled. Colson can fill in if necessary.
51. Pittsburgh Steelers- DeVontez Walker, WR, North Carolina
Getting another receiver to go with George Pickens is imperative and Walker can stretch the field.
52. Los Angeles Rams- Bralen Trice, EDGE, Washington
The Rams need to improve their pass rush as a whole and Trice is a strong edge player.
53. Philadelphia Eagles- Jermaine Burton, WR, Alabama
Philadelphia has needed a third wide receiver to pair with A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.
54. Cleveland Browns- Braden Fiske, DL, Florida State
The Browns don’t have too many needs after a solid offseason, but can get better on the interior of the defensive line.
55. Miami Dolphins- Roman Wilson, WR, Michigan
Following a pick of an offensive lineman, the Dolphins can get a better third wide receiver for their offense.
56. Dallas Cowboys- Trey Benson, RB, Florida State
Tony Pollard left in free agency and the Cowboys need a new star running back.
57. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Kamari Lassiter, CB, Georgia
Another outside corner is needed if the defense is going to improve.
58. Green Bay Packers- Jeremiah Trotter Jr., LB, Clemson
The Packers could use another player to compete for a starting linebacker spot.
59. Houston Texans- Kris Jenkins, DL, Michigan
Getting a defensive lineman to help stop the run after getting a corner earlier can really help the defense.
60. Buffalo Bills- Chris Braswell, EDGE, Alabama
Von Miller didn’t have a great season and the Bills can find a rotational edge rusher here.
61. Detroit Lions- Tyler Nubin, S, Minnesota
Improving the secondary at some point has to be a focus in this draft for the Lions.
62. Baltimore Ravens- Blake Fisher, OT, Notre Dame
The Ravens have a solid roster so they can take a good player and eventual starting right tackle.
63. San Francisco 49ers- Adisa Isaac, EDGE, Penn State
Getting a rotational pass rusher across from Nick Bosa can increase the ceiling for the 49ers’ defense.
64. Kansas City Chiefs- Roger Rosengarten, OT, Washington
The Chiefs have improved the wide receiver room, but can also improve the offensive line.
