Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks have agreed to a five-year, $207 million max extension according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Young, 22, has been in the NBA for three seasons with the Hawks and this year, he led the team to the Eastern Conference Finals.
The one-time All-Star averaged 25.3 points and 9.4 assists per game during the 2020-2021 NBA season.
Atlanta will look to keep most of their young core together in order to improve on their run in the 2021 playoffs in the future.
