Scottie Barnes has signed an extension with the Toronto Raptors. The deal will be for five seasons and $270 million making him the highest-paid player in Raptors’ history.
Barnes, 22, was the Rookie of the Year in 2021-2022 and has made one All-Star Game. He has averaged 16.6 points, 7.4 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game in his career. For last season, he averaged 19.9 points, 8.2 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game.
The Raptors will look to build around Barnes after the team went 25-57.
