Restricted free agent forward Santi Aldama is set to return to the Memphis Grizzlies on a three-year, $52.5 million deal, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Aldama, 24, has played all four of his NBA seasons with the Grizzlies. He has averaged 9.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game in his career. This past season, Aldama put up averages of 14.5 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.9 assists for the best statistical year of his career.
His return should help the Grizzlies after they finished 48-34 last season and made the playoffs. They also re-signed Jaren Jackson Jr. early in this free agency period.
