The San Antonio Spurs have agreed to an extension with Dejounte Murray for four years and $64 million according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Murray, 23, will have all $64 million of the contract guaranteed. The Spurs selected Murray with the 29th overall selection in the 2016 NBA Draft.
San Antonio has worked on developing Murray over the last few years. In his career, he has 6.6 points and 2.9 assists per game. Murray has battled injuries throughout his short career. He missed the entire 2018-2019 season with a torn ACL. The Spurs will hope he can improve over previous years, even though he is coming off the injury.
