Houston Rockets’ point guard Russell Westbrook has tested positive for COVID-19 according to his Twitter account.
Westbrook is feeling well and intends to join his teammates in Orlando once he is cleared. The quickest he can be cleared is in two weeks.
In his first season in Houston, Westbrook averaged 27.5 points per game along with eight rebounds and seven assists.
Two days ago was the one year anniversary of when the Houston Rockets traded Chris Paul and four first round picks to acquire Westbrook.
The Rockets are hoping for a quick recovery because he is a large reason why they are considered Championship contenders.
