Raptors Sign Gary Trent Jr. to Extension

The Toronto Raptors are signing Gary Trent Jr. to a multi-year contract extension according to Chris Haynes.

Trent, 24, is a five-year veteran who has played for the Trail Blazers and Raptors. He has averaged 14.4 points in his career, but increased that to 17.4 points per game last season.

In the Raptors’ backcourt, Trent will pair with new acquisition Dennis Schroder after Fred VanVleet decided to move to Houston.
