
The Portland Trail Blazers have reached a three-year, $28 million deal with free agent guard
Gary Payton
II according to Shams Charania.
Payton II, 29, has played six NBA seasons with the Bucks, Lakers, Wizards and Warriors. He was a key role player for the Warriors during their championship run this past season.
The Oregon State product posted career highs with 7.1 points and 3.5 rebounds per game this season. He averages 5.2 points and 2.8 rebounds for his career.
The Blazers added a key piece to their rotation in Payton II, who has specialized in perimeter defense over his career.
