Portland Trail Blazers Re-Sign Drew Eubanks

Joe DiTullioBy Joe DiTullioJuly 1, 20221 Min Read

The Portland Trail Blazers have re-signed Drew Eubanks on a one-year deal according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Free agent F/C Drew Eubanks is returning to the Portland Trail Blazers on a one-year deal, his agent James Dunleavy of @excelbasketball tells ESPN.

Eubanks, 25, played the first three and a half seasons of his career with the Spurs before being traded to the Trail Blazers for half a season. He has averaged 5.9 points and 4.4 rebounds per game in his career. In his short time with the Trail Blazers last season, he averaged 14.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game.

Although he started for the Trail Blazers last season, he will likely be a key reserve in 2022-2023, as Jusuf Nurkic returns from injury. Nurkic just signed a deal with a Trail Blazers on Friday.

Stoked about Nurkic and Eubanks. The 22-23 Blazers will complete. And “if” KD ends up in the Rose City, pencil the Blazers in for the Western Conference title round.
