
The Philadelphia 76ers have agreed to a two-year, $5.3 million deal with free agent forward Trendon Watford, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Watford, 24, is a four-year veteran who has played for the Trail Blazers and Nets in his career. In his four seasons, he has averaged 7.9 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game. Last season, he posted a career-best year with 10.2 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists.
Philadelphia will hope to rebound from its 24-58 record last season. Watford will help their depth.
