The Portland Trail Blazers and the New Orleans Pelicans have engaged in a blockbuster trade. Among the assets traded between the teams is former Blazers star C.J. McCollum. The teams also swapped multiple other players and some draft picks.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the news via Twitter on Tuesday.
Full trade, per sources:
Blazers: Josh Hart, Tomas Satoransky, Nickeil Walker-Alexander, Didi Louzada, 2022 protected first-round pick, two second-round picks.

The full trade includes Portland receiving Josh Hart, Tomas Satoransky, Nickeil Walker-Alexander, Didi Louzada and three total 2022 NBA Draft picks. The Pelicans will only receive three players in return; McCollum, Larry Nance, Jr. and Tony Snell.
New Orleans and Portland are separated by only a half game in the Western Conference standings. The Pelicans are currently the 10th seed at 21-32, and the Blazers are 11th at 21-33. The biggest piece of the trade, McCollum, is averaging 20.5 points and 4.5 assists in 36 games this season.
