Free agent guard Nickeil Alexander-Walker has agreed to a four-year, $62 million deal with the Atlanta Hawks, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Alexander-Walker, 26, is a six-year veteran who has played for the Pelicans, Jazz and Timberwolves in his career. He has averaged 8.6 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game in his career.
The Hawks will hope the addition of Alexander-Walker will help the team improve on their 40-42 record from last season.
Atlanta will send a 2026 second-round pick and cash to Cleveland to complete a sign-and-trade for Alexander-Walker.
