
The New York Knicks have fired head coach Tom Thibodeau following an appearance in the Eastern Conference Finals accordin to Shams Charania.
Thibodeau had a 226-174 record with the Knicks over five seasons. This season, the Knicks were 51-31 and made an appearance in the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time in 25 years.
Over his career, Thibodeau has compiled a 578-420 record in time spent with the Knicks, Timberwolves and Bulls.
The Knicks will search for a new coach in hopes of leading the team to a championship.
