The Boston Celtics have agreed to re-sign Neemias Queta to a new four-year, $56 million extension, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Queta, a former second-round pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, spent his first two seasons in the league with the Sacramento Kings before spending the last three seasons with the Celtics.
Queta, who stands 7-foot and weighs 248 pounds, played in 76 games last season and averaged 10.2 points and 8.4 rebounds while shooting an impressive 65.3% from the field. He’ll be a key part of the Celtics’ frontcourt and will play alongside one of Boston’s biggest offseason additions, Mitchell Robinson.
