Powell reports that Toppin and himself had been working out together in New Jersey so it seems as though these two rookies are ready to take on the NBA together.

Powell is coming off of a four year career at Seton Hall University. At Seton Hall, his career statistics were 21 points per game, 4.3 rebounds per game and 2.9 assists per game. Last year, Powell was debating whether to stay at Seton Hall for his senior year or to enter the draft. After deciding to stay, Powell earned a lot of attention for his senior year.
