Milwaukee Bucks Agree to Deals With 4 Free Agents

Publish Date: June 30, 2022

The Milwaukee Bucks have agreed to deals with four free agents. Bobby Portis, Joe Ingles, Wesley Matthews and Jevon Carter all reached deals with the organization in the opening hour of free agency.

Portis, 27, has played with the Bulls, Wizards, Knicks and Bucks in his career. He has averaged 11.1 points and 6.6 rebounds per game in his career.

His play helped the Bucks win the NBA championship in 2021. Portis has had career years with the Bucks and will likely start for them again next season. His contract will be for four years and $49 million.

Ingles is a 34-year-old forward who is signing a one-year $6.5 million deal with the Bucks. He has spent eight years in the NBA, all with the Milwaukee Bucks. For the Bucks, Ingles will help spread the floor, as he shot 40.8 percent from 3-point range. He has averaged 8.6 points and 3.8 assists per game in his career.

Matthews, 35, averaged 5.1 points per game for the Bucks last season. Carter returns after averaging 5.6 points per game in a backup point guard role.

With all the signings, the Bucks will hope to stay healthy in the playoffs to get back to the NBA Finals again as they did in 2021.

The Milwaukee Bucks did the right thing they got to figure out a little bit more what to do with that BENCH players 👀,The coaching staff might do a better job in rotating and keeping starters fresh down the stretch. Put the ball in the guards hands you are always playing your starters to hard ,they have no energy at the end of the games. If a player is not playing well , don’t hesitate to pull him out of the game and let them see what is happening on the floor play hard for 48 minutes every player on the team must be very productive your defense collapse too many time last year ( FEAR THE DEER ) MILWAUKEE BUCKS.🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌
