Shooting guard
Matt Thomas
has been shipped from the Toronto Raptors to the Utah Jazz according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. The Raptors will get a future second-round pick as part of the deal.
Thomas, 26, is averaging 2.7 points per game for the Raptors this season. He specializes in 3-point shooting, as he has shot 45.7 percent from deep in his career.
The Jazz will likely utilize Thomas as a situational shooter on their bench as they make their way towards the playoffs.
Toronto is looking to shed many of their players, as Kyle Lowry is also a player rumored to be traded before the deadline.
