Free agent center Mason Plumlee has agreed to a one-year, $3.6 million deal with the Charlotte Hornets, according to Shams Charania.
Plumlee, 35, is a 12-year veteran who has played for Nets, Trail Blazers, Nuggets, Hornets, Clippers and Suns. In his career, he has averaged 8.0 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game.
With Charlotte, Plumlee will provide frontcourt depth to a team that finished 19-63 last season.
