The Phoenix Suns have signed guard Luke Kennard to a two-year, $13 million deal with a player option for the second season, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Kennard is entering his 10th season in the NBA and split time last season between the Atlanta Hawks and Los Angeles Lakers. He averaged 8.4 points per game and is one of the league’s premier three-point shooters, having shot 44.2% from three-point range over his career.
Kennard shot a remarkable 47.8% from three last season and will bring his shooting ability to a Suns team that could use more depth and perimeter shooting.
He’ll join a Suns backcourt that includes Devin Booker, Jalen Green, Colin Gillespie and Dillon Brooks.
