Free agent guard Luke Kennard has reached a one-year, $11 million deal with the Atlanta Hawks, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Kennard, 29, is an eight-year veteran who has played for the Pistons, Clippers and Grizzlies. In his career, he has averaged 9.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. He has shot 43.8 percent from 3-point range in his career.
The Hawks have acquired Kristaps Porzingis and Nickeil Alexander-Walker already in free agency as they try to improve their roster. Kennard will help space the floor as one of the better deep shooters in the league.
