The Los Angeles Lakers will sign free agent forward Jake LaRavia on a two-year, $12 million contract according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
LaRavia, 23, has played three NBA seasons with the Grizzlies and Kings. Over his career, he has averaged 6.9 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game. Last season, he shot a career-best 42.3 percent from behind the arc.
The Lakers have already retained LeBron James this offseason after finishing 50-32 last season, which was good enough for the no. 3 seed in the Western Conference.
