On Sunday, the Los Angeles Lakers announced the signing of two-time All-Star center Andre Drummond.
Drummond was one the most sought after players on the buyout market after being bought out by the Cleveland Cavaliers. In 25 games this season, Drummond averaged 17.5 points and 13.5 rebounds in just under 29 minutes per game, but hasn’t played in a game since Feb. 12.
While he likely won’t return to his All-Star form, Drummond will be another physical force for the Lakers. Drummond is an above average shot blocker and an underrated passer, pairing that with his size and high-level rebounding the Lakers are hoping he will help fill some holes while they wait for LeBron James and Anthony Davis to return from injuries.
