The Charlotte Hornets and guard LaMelo Ball have reached an extension of five years for $260 million according to Shams Charania.
Ball, 21, has spent three seasons with the team after they selected him in the 2020 NBA Draft. Last season was his best, as he averaged 23.3 points, 6.4 rebounds and 8.4 assists per game.
The Hornets will hope Ball can return from an ankle injury that ended his year last season. They drafted Brandon Miller to pair with Ball in hopes of a potential run at the playoffs.
